Family Travel | First Spring Outing: Shanghai Wildlife Park‼️

Spring is here, and it's time for a family outing! Taking advantage of the holiday, we decided to visit Shanghai Wildlife Park as our first stop. Although there are zoos everywhere, this one is exceptionally large! While I usually have reservations about animals in cages, my child loves zoos. Fortunately, the living conditions for animals here are quite good, with spacious areas and most animals roaming freely. Tickets: I bought them online, and children under 1.2 meters are free. If you want to watch the circus performance or feed the animals, you can buy tickets in advance. Transportation: It's very convenient. After exiting Metro Line 16 at Exit 2, take Huinan Bus Route 6 for two stops, and you're there. No need for a taxi, which costs 10, while the bus is only 1. Suggestions: Start your visit from the left side to catch the circus show and animal feeding first, then follow the route to see all the animals. Reminder: We stumbled upon two performances during our visit—one at Sun Plaza and another at Beast Mountain Theater. We missed the sea lion show, so check the schedule if you want to see performances. There's no need to buy inner circle tickets; you can watch from anywhere within the theater area. Surprise: The most delightful part was the large number of pandas with excellent living conditions. The younger pandas were very playful, and we watched them for a long time. Another surprise was the elephants; we caught a feeding and interaction session with a keeper. Check the schedule for this too.
