Located at 128 Guilin Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai, Guilin Park, a classical Chinese garden featuring osmanthus trees, is a must-visit destination‼️ Originally known as "Huang Family Garden," Guilin Park was built in 1931 as the private garden villa of Huang Jinrong, the French Concession's police inspector and gang leader in old Shanghai. Though not large, every brick and tile exudes a unique elegance. During the Japanese occupation of Shanghai, it served as a Japanese army barracks, and some buildings were destroyed when the Japanese troops withdrew.
