New Literary Landmark

On the 120th anniversary of Mr. Ba Jin's birth, the Ba Jin Library at No. 455 Wujin Road, Hongkou District, was officially opened to the public, marking the birth of another new literary landmark in Shanghai. The Ba Jin Library was originally named Yihong Garden and was built in the late Qing Dynasty. Yihong means "rainbow on the screen." Located in two historic buildings in the Shanghai Literature Museum area, it is a new cultural space named after "Ba Jin" that enables a variety of literary activities and interactions, and undertakes the cultural function of cultural exchange and public service of the Shanghai Literature Museum.
