Pretend you're in a movie 🎞 I shot a Republic of China era blockbuster at Jiangyuan Lane 📷 Follow this niche walking guide and go out for a stroll! - 📍 Shanghai · Hongkou 🔎 Route: Stroll along the old street, passing through vintage neighborhoods and old buildings, about 3km in total, takes around 2 hours 🚌 Transport: Metro Line 10 direct to Sichuan North Road Station Exit 4 🚗 Driving: Parking available at Bingang Commercial Center, currently 🆓 - 🚶‍♀️ Route Overview: Line 10 Sichuan North Road Station → Jin Chao Lane 8 → Jiangyuan Lane · Victory Cinema → North Bund (or return the same way) - 🕍 Jin Chao Lane 8 Converted from 66 century-old Shikumen buildings, perfectly blending vintage architecture with trendy culture, rivaling Zhangyuan, every shot looks like a retro blockbuster! ✅ One-foot Garden (Yingchuan Jilu Store) One-foot Garden is so grand, the new store occupies an entire old Western-style house! Three full floors, a glass room surrounded by greenery + Shikumen courtyard, sitting by the floor-to-ceiling window sipping coffee, watching the sunlight pour in is very cozy. ✅ Ba Jin Library A newly opened literary landmark! Hidden inside a corner old Western-style house, open 10am-5pm 🆓, the courtyard garden is very photogenic ~ The library houses Ba Jin’s manuscripts, has a children’s reading area, family-friendly, you can experience a literary atmosphere ✅ Haipai Culture Center Open 9:30-11:30am and 1:30-4:30pm 🆓, classic films are screened in the small theater ✅ Bingang Commercial Center The mall features an artsy vibe, with decorations from the Shanghai Animation Film Studio, and on weekends you can watch the “Jazz Jiangnan” performance - 🎬 Victory Cinema · Jiangyuan Lane This is the filming location of "Jiangyuan Lane." Although it hasn’t been released yet, I have a feeling this will be a hot check-in spot in 2025! ✅ Retro Movie Scenes Recreates the movie’s set, with bluestone roads, neon signs, old projectors, film walls, cheongsam grocery stores...
