Shanghai Wildlife Park

Shanghai Wildlife Park is located at No. 178 Nanliu Highway, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, about 35 km from downtown Shanghai. The park opened on November 18, 1995, and covers an area of 1.53 square kilometers. It is the first national wildlife park in China, built by the Shanghai Municipal Government and the National Forestry and Grassland Administration. It is a theme park that integrates wildlife breeding, exhibition, breeding protection, science education, and leisure and entertainment. 🔺 Take a photo of the guide map at the entrance, or you may miss many cute animals. The park is divided into a drive-through area, a walking area, and a water exploration area. There are two types of vehicles to choose from in the drive-through area. We recommend the free bus, where you can see wild animals such as lions, tigers, leopards, and peacocks. 🔺 Check the show times in advance. There are three free theaters: Sun Plaza, Beast Hill Theater, and Sea Lion Theater, all with exciting performances waiting for you. 🔺 Enter the walking area from the main entrance, and you will first see flamingos and the Big Mouth Gallery. Then, tour clockwise to see pandas, alpacas, giraffes, African elephants, Asian elephants, and more. Most animals can be fed up close, but this requires an additional fee.
