Taikanglu is a space created by artists and designers. ✅Artist studios, art & design studios, craft shops and galleries, antique & boutique shops are all gathered here. ✅At first, it was an area where gypsum gate (stone gate) houses were gathered, but now these residential buildings have been transformed into galleries, cafes, etc. However, you can still see gypsum gate houses. ✅In the 1990s, young Shanghai artists began to open studios and galleries here, and it has since emerged as a representative art and cultural center in Shanghai.
