Pilgrimage to the Water Towns of Jiangnan - Anting Old Street

Historical records state: "Every ten miles there is a pavilion, named 'An' for peace, and the pavilion gives the town its name," hence the town of Anting was named. Anting Old Street is not particularly outstanding among the various ancient town streets, and it doesn't even have the standard snack street that other ancient towns have. It is even less bustling compared to the nearby Nanxiang Old Street and Zhouqiao Old Street. The main attractions of the old street include the Bodhi Zen Temple, Yong'an Pagoda, and Yan Si Bridge.
