If you are near Xujiahui, consider spending an extra half hour visiting this niche museum. This place was originally the site of an orphanage founded by the church in 1864. Besides caring for orphans, it also established a craft factory, including painting, sculpture, and other new crafts that originated from this place. The museum opened in 2010, showcasing a lot of the culture of the Shanghai School and the history of modern crafts.
