To sum it up, Gyeongbokgung is a palace built during the Korean dynasty dated back in 1395. Now, it is a tourist attraction. There are free guided tours in various languages and you will have to sign up for them. Else, you can just rent an audio device and use it for your self-guided tour. I suggest you read up on Gyeongbokgung before you enter, if not you will be overwhelmed and also do not know where to go. This is because it is a huge palace and there is a lot of walking.
