Getting there and parking The cable car's base station is located in Seis am Schlern in Italy's South Tyrol province. The road to the Seiser Alm is closed to private vehicles from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the peak season. During this time, the cable car is the primary method of accessing the area.
