Quick 1-night, 2-day trip to Western Dolomites!

I finally visited the Dolomites, a place I had always wanted to go! Although my schedule was tight, I managed to spend 2 nights in the Dolomites, with 1 night and 2 days dedicated to exploring the western part efficiently. Here's my recommended itinerary 🥳 Day 1: Lake Carezza - Check-in at Ortisei accommodation - Explore Ortisei village - Lunch - Sunset at Santa Maddalena - Accommodation Day 2: Alpe di Siusi - Gelato in Ortisei village - Seceda - Lunch at Sofie Hut in Seceda - Accommodation 【Recommended Attractions】 1. Lake Carezza: This was the most beautiful spot in the Dolomites. We stopped by Lake Carezza as soon as we arrived, and the weather was perfect, making it a truly happy moment 🥹🩵. The vast Alps, the vibrant lake color, and the reflection of the mountains on the clear water were unforgettable. Be sure to visit Lake Carezza! 2. Alpe di Siusi: The second-best spot was Alpe di Siusi! It was the green meadow of my dreams 😭. It reminded me a bit of "Howl's Moving Castle." I was worried there might not be any wildflowers since it was June 1st, but there were plenty in bloom, and the weather was perfect for trekking! It was like stepping into a fairytale 💛. 3. Santa Maddalena: You must visit here for the sunset! The sunset view from Santa Maddalena is one of the best I've ever seen. Since it's a village on a mountain, good weather is essential for a clear view. We were lucky with the weather at the end of May and early June, and we saw the Santa Maddalena mountain range without a single cloud! The only downside was that there were some clouds on the opposite side, so the mountains didn't turn as red during the sunset. Still, we were fortunate to see the mountain range clearly, and it was a wonderful experience 💚. 【Recommended Restaurants】 1. Turonda: We stayed in the center of Ortisei village and visited this pizza place based on Google reviews. When in Italy, you must try pizza! 😊 We ordered a classic Margherita pizza and a gourmet pizza, and both were absolutely delicious. 2. Sofie Hut (Seceda): If you visit Seceda, make sure to stop by Sofie Hut and try their carbonara. It was an authentic Italian carbonara, different from any I've had before, and the best I've ever tasted 💛. 【Recommended Hotel】 1. Hotel Location: Ortisei 2. Hotel Name: Hotel Dolomiti Madonna 3. Hotel Address: Strada Rezia, 267, 39046 Ortisei BZ, Italy 【Photo Spots】 Everywhere you go is a photo spot 😭. Take your time exploring and capturing lots of memorable shots. 【Travel Tips】 If you have more time, it would be great to explore the eastern Dolomites as well. However, for those with a tight schedule like us, focusing on the western region is enough to cover a lot in 1 night and 2 days. Be sure to visit! Also, I recommend purchasing a 1-day Dolomiti Pass for the cable cars, which allows you to visit two places in a day at a much more reasonable price 👍🏻.
