Ready to step up your Dolomites hiking game? 🏔️✨ Here’s my two-day adventure through Alpe di Siusi and Seceda — absolutely jaw-dropping scenery and super doable for any skill level… plus, I did it campervan style (hello freedom and sunrise!). Trust me, these trails won’t break your legs OR your spirit! Day 1: Alpe di Siusi Get started in Europe’s largest alpine meadow (Alpe di Siusi). Park the van and you’re basically walking into a postcard. The loop takes ~3 hours, with gentle paths and endless nature. It actually feels like a stroll in the park, but with epic Dolomite backdrops. Tip: This spot is ultra kid-friendly and dog friendly too — just bring layers, because the weather flips fast! Day 2: Seceda Next up, the iconic Seceda ridge (Seceda lift base: open May–Oct, first cable car 8:30am). Jump on the cable car for extra views, then tackle the up-and-down hills — manageable, and the panoramas at the top will make you want to stay all day (there are lovely huts around for lunch). Getting Around: Campervanning means max flexibility (park at official lots/campsites, many with mountain access)! There are shuttle buses to the trailheads if you go off-season or don’t drive. Food & Tips: Local huts sell hearty Tyrolean dishes — try speck sandwiches and apple strudel. ATMs are available in villages (bring some cash for hut snacks). Weather changes fast; layers/rain gear save the day! #DolomitesGuide #AlpeDiSiusi #Seceda #CampervanHiking #ItalyTrails
