Sarajevo is a beautiful mountain city located in the Balkan Peninsula. It is currently the capital of Bosnia and is jointly governed by three different ethnic groups. This mountain city is very special. It was once the place where the First World War broke out. It was also the host city of the 1984 Winter Olympics. In 1992, the Yugoslav Federation was about to disintegrate. There were three ethnic groups here, including Serbs, Croats and Bosnians. Serbs firmly opposed independence.
