Santorini Island, the Land of Romance

The orange light of the sun contrasts with the dark blue sea with white and blue buildings as the backdrop. It looks very beautiful and perfect. Santorini, an island in the middle of the Aegean Sea, has many cities worth visiting, both on the west coast, which is a cliff with a sea view and beaches scattered along the coast. The prominent city on the west coast is Oia, which is in the north of the island and is a famous sunset spot. And Fira, a large city in the middle of the island. When we came, we stayed on the Oia side and took a bus to the Fira side. ✅If you want accommodation that is convenient to travel, not expensive, has restaurants, entertainment venues in the evening, and doesn't want a very romantic atmosphere, I recommend finding accommodation in Fira. ✅If you want to enjoy the view of the sea, watch the sunset, and stay in a beautiful and romantic hotel, I recommend finding accommodation in Oia. ❌These two cities do not have beaches where you can swim like the cities on the east side of the island. With famous beaches such as Kamari, Perissa and Perivolos, this beach is the longest black sand beach on the island. You can sunbathe and swim. ✈️ Traveling to Santorini Island You can travel from Athens by plane for 45 minutes, landing at Santorini National Airport (Thira). 🚢 Traveling by boat at Piraeus Port (Piraeus), the large ship will take 8 hours. 🛥️ The speedboat takes about 4 hours, landing at the port (Thira). 🌏 In the summer, there are a lot of people, crowded, expensive accommodation. 🌏 In the winter, strong winds, few people, inexpensive accommodation. But many hot shops and restaurants are closed.
