If you're looking for a short weekend getaway, Quanzhou, just an hour's drive away, is a great choice for a trip near Xiamen. I explored the ancient Minnan alleys of West Street, savored local delicacies like Minnan noodle paste, five-spice rolls, and seaweed meatballs, and even visited the nearby Luojia Temple. It was a uniquely Quanzhou Minnan-style romantic seaside experience. . A relaxing trip requires not only fun activities but also comfortable accommodations. I chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express Quanzhou City Center, which opened just last year. From my sunset suite, I had a panoramic view of the sunset over Quanzhou. The 60-square-meter suite was equipped with modern amenities. In the evening, I enjoyed a soak in the bathtub, slipped into my bathrobe, ordered some authentic Quanzhou barbecue, and spent a quiet evening with friends, sipping milk tea. .
