Qiankun Bay Laoniu Bay

Laoniuwan is famous for the Laoniuwan Castle built in the third year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty (1467). The Yellow River enters Shanxi from Laoniuwan, the Inner and Outer Great Walls meet here, and the Shanxi-Shaanxi-Inner Mongolia Grand Canyon begins here. The vicissitudes of the landforms of China's Loess Plateau are highlighted here, and the magnificent landscape of the rushing river is reproduced here. Laoniuwan is where the Great Wall shakes hands with the Yellow River and is one of the ten most beautiful canyons in China. The magnificent canyon landscape has created two 4A-level scenic spots, namely the Laoniuwan Yellow River Grand Canyon Tourist Area in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Laoniuwan Scenic Area in Pianguan County, Shanxi Province.
