The river water is clear and flows around the mountains. I even think that Li Bai's "Ten Thousand Mountains" describes Laoniuwan. 🚉Transportation strategy: If you drive there, you will find a new straight road. You must remember to take the new road. We followed the navigation and took the old road, which went around the mountain. The road was too dangerous. It was like going through 108 bends, going up the mountain, down the mountain, and up the mountain again. So you must take the new road. ⏳Play time: We traveled in September and it took us three and a half hours to get there from Baotou. Laoniuwan is under the jurisdiction of Hohhot and is quite far away. Please plan your time well. It is recommended to come in July or August. 📝Note tips: The temperature difference between morning and night in the north is quite large, so it is recommended to prepare a thicker jacket. There are many local people living in the scenic area, and the food and accommodation there are also cheap. We chose to sleep in the car overnight.
