King Siallagan's Stone Chair

There were several Batak traditional houses, some of them are still occupied and has more modern style construction attached behind the traditional houses. These stone chairs used to be the place where the king sat down and holding a meeting with his advisers. This is the place where the stuff regarding the cannibalism of Batak tribe started. There's a table in this site where they would put the enemies to be killed and they would eat their hearts as a ritual to prevent the black magic from rising. Here the atmosphere is a lot quieter (we were the only ones there) and more spooky when you know what actually took place there all those years ago. I would definitely recommend going here as well as the slightly busier attraction in Ambarita. So interesting, eerie and amazing. #urbanexplorer #happylaborday #maydaytrip #ancientlandmark
