The sea of flowers at Xixi Huajian Guesthouse is a gentle paradise in Longtan, Pingnan.

Longtan Village downstream (3 minutes down the slope from the Police-Civilian Post) I really recommend this place from the bottom of my heart! I'm not a shill! Why do I recommend it? Here are all the reasons: 1. The hostess, Sister Momo, is super nice. We had a lot of luggage, and she came from far away to help us, which was so touching. 2. Sister Momo's cooking is so delicious. We arrived during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, and she made rice dumplings for us. Her cooking skills are excellent, and the breakfast was especially hearty. The scrambled eggs with green peppers were so delicious that I fainted. 3. The village has the best flowers, bar none! The entrance is already an internet-famous check-in point. I really love the sea of flowers at the entrance. 4. The room has a great view. You can see the creek from the balcony on the second floor and fall asleep to the sound of running water. It's so blissful. You can read a book all day at the small table by the floor-to-ceiling window on the third floor! 5. There's a little kitty, hahaha. 6. I love their decor! The facilities are okay, and the toilet is a smart toilet, hahaha. 7. The highlight is that you can teach the hostess to play the piano in exchange for the room fee. Overall, it's a very cozy little building. I had a very warm and happy experience and wanted to stay in the small town for a few days. Longtan is so much fun! I'll come back if I have the chance!
