He felt sorry for all living beings and wondered how they could have such a strange fate So he made a great vow, resigned from his position as the national master in Chang'an, and built a hut at the foot of Chalong Mountain He wrote the "Compassionate Samadhi Water Repentance," a method for resolving grievances and knots for all living beings Today, it has become the most commonly used repentance method in temples Master Zhixuan is also known as Wuda Zunzhe, one of the 500 Arhats Samadhi, a Sanskrit word, means "right concentration" By correcting one's mind and actions, one can achieve a state of tranquility and avoid evil and chaos By sincerely repenting with a concentrated mind, one can wash away grievances with the water of samadhi He pointed out the method of resolving grievances and knots for all living beings Instead of deliberately mystifying things and making them difficult to understand, this is great compassion The spiritual pagoda of the national master Wuda is located in the Sanmei Anguo Temple below For thousands of years, the incense has been flourishing, and admirers have come from all over the world "The virtue spreads across the four seas" is not an exaggeration The Sanmei Zen Forest on Chalong Mountain is about 60 kilometers from downtown Chengdu It is also a good place for hiking and exploring, as it is warm in winter and cool in summer The ancient path is lined with green pines and bamboo, and is quite steep But don't worry, there are tables and chairs around the temple that can be used freely A cup of tea costs five yuan, and a potato costs five yuan, which has not changed in ten years Of course, if you want to get the "Samadhi Water," you need to climb to the top of the mountain to the Shuiting Temple The sound of the bell lingers in your ears The world of smoke and fire is boundless There is a spring in the "Holy Water Pavilion" behind the hall, which has benefited the world for over a thousand years
