For someone like me who loves cats, this trip was undoubtedly a healing and wonderful experience. As soon as you set foot on Hujing Island, the tranquility and simplicity of the island will immediately make you relax. There are no noisy crowds of tourists here, but instead cats strolling through the alleys and lazily basking in the sun. Hujing Island has become a paradise for cats because most of the islanders are friendly to cats and the pace of life is slow. Walking among the old houses, you can see cats squatting on windowsills, stone steps, and eaves everywhere. Some will even approach tourists and act coquettishly. Each cat has a different personality, some are aloof, some are friendly. The process of interacting with them is like having a conversation with the island, full of surprises. In addition to cats, Hujing Island also has attractions worth visiting, such as the Tropic of Cancer Monument, coastal scenery, and simple settlements. The island is not big, but it is full of flavor. The pace of life on the island is slow and the natural scenery is pure. It is a place where you can really calm down, relax and feel the present moment. For me, this trip to Hujing Island is not just about "seeing cats", but more like a recharge of body, mind and soul.
