Visit the ginkgo trees at Nanxiong Pingtian Forest Park.

Guangdong Pingtian Ancient Ginkgo Forest Park is located in Pingtian Town, Nanxiong City, with a total area of 906.2 hectares. Most of the ginkgo trees in Pingtian are wild and scattered throughout the village, so there are many ancient trees that are hundreds of years old. The main attractions are: Aobei Village: There is a ginkgo tree over 1,200 years old, 25 meters high, with a trunk circumference of 7.6 meters and a crown width of 19 meters. It is known as the "King of Trees" by the locals and looks like two people leaning against each other. Junyingzhai: The highest point in Pingtian and the best place to watch the sunset, where you can overlook the layers of mountains and the centuries-old ginkgo trees scattered in the mountains. Fengwu Village: There is a dense ginkgo forest, with many ginkgo trees planted in the courtyards of old houses. On November 24, I went to Pingtian to see the ginkgo trees. Due to the abnormal weather this year, the ginkgo leaves have not yet turned completely yellow. Most of the ginkgo leaves are half green and half yellow, and there are many fallen leaves, which are not very ornamental. Tickets: Free, but parking fees are charged, 10 yuan for small cars, 30 yuan for large cars. There are also free parking spaces in the village. Transportation: You can drive to "Pingtian Ginkgo Forest Park" by navigation, and the destination is Aobei Village. It takes about 1 hour to take a taxi from Nanxiong, and the fare is about 120 yuan (including highway tolls). The last section of the road is narrow and winding, so it is easy to get carsick. Pay attention to driving safety. Or take a bus from Nanxiong Bus Station to Pingtian. The terminal is at the entrance of Aobei Village, but there are few buses, about one per hour. There are no shuttle buses in the village, so it is most convenient to drive or charter a car. Otherwise, you can only visit Aobei Village in Pingtian Ginkgo Forest Park. It takes more than 30 minutes to walk to Fengwu Village, and one or two hours to walk to Junyingzhai.
