Heartfelt Adventure at the Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Center

Visiting the Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Center was a truly thrilling and heartwarming adventure—a must-do if you have free time! The private feeding at the orphanage was a truly special treat. It's essential to secure your ticket ahead of time and arrive early! Getting a spot along the ropes is crucial if you want a close-up encounter. Observing the elephants as they rushed to their daily feeding was charming! While watching, we learned each elephant's story before coming to the orphanage. As their tales were being shared after feeding, the elephants enjoyed some free-play with their pals, which was both wonderful and funny to witness them romping as if they were small pets! Once playtime ended, the staff guided the elephants back to their natural habitat. Before leaving, you have the option to adopt an elephant—I highly suggest it, both the adopting and viewing! Incredible photo opportunities and a once-in-a-lifetime chance! Unfortunately, the giraffe center was a bit of a letdown. The giraffes are certainly living their best lives! However, the 'feeding experience' could be much better. When you enter, you're given a very small cup of food pellets to place on the giraffe's tongue. Only about 4 giraffes can be fed at any moment. While it's interesting, once is plenty!
