The hotel in Matsue I stayed at on my solo trip to Shimane Prefecture was so nice that I'd like to introduce it to you♪ It's about a 15-minute stroll from JR Matsue Station. I arrived at "Natural Hot Spring Dandan no Yu Onyado Nono"! There are many izakayas where you can enjoy local sake in the area, and the national treasure Matsue Castle is within walking distance, so it's a great location. When you enter the inn through the cool Japanese noren curtain, the first thing you do is take off your shoes and put them in the shoe locker. You have to keep your own key. The atmosphere is warm and wooden, and it's really nice! When you enter the room, it also has a Japanese modern atmosphere, and it's such a cute and comfortable space that you might wonder if it's only for solo female travelers. And from the room I stayed in this time, you could see Lake Shinji, where the sunsets are said to be incredibly beautiful. On the top floor (11th floor), there is a large natural hot spring bath called "Dandan no Yu" for men and women, and you can eat free ice cream after bathing. And the highlight is the breakfast! You should definitely try the breakfast here. It's very delicious, and making your own seafood bowl was fun!
