Catalan Roman villas

Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Barcelona (Region) The Roman villa of Torre Llauder can be visited every Saturday at 12 noon. Admission is free and includes a guided tour that lasts about an hour. It allows you to get acquainted with the Roman way of life through archaeological remains, discovering the rooms of the villa and their different uses, such as the bathrooms, the dining room with typical mosaic fragments or the perimeter of the remains of the two courtyards. The illustrations of spatial reconstructions shown by the guide throughout the visit were appreciated, as they allowed us to better understand the archaeological remains. Many details and curiosities of daily life in Roman times are explained. Since archaeological excavations take place every year, it’s fun to visit each year to see new discoveries.
