Pennywort Cooking Class

#thingstodo What a fantastic day. Started at the market. Learned so many things about the local cuisine and culture. Took a tour of the market and then was set out with money to buy the produce for the cooking class! We then walked the short distance to May’s house for the cooking class (after stopping along the way for wonderful coffee). The class was so much fun. Again, we learned a lot about Myanmar food and culture. The meal was absolutely delicious - not only because the ingredients were fresh and the recipes very creative, but because it was made with so much love. The hostess, May, is wonderful and cares deeply about her community. It was special to be a part of this.
