Wander the Plaza de Armas (Calle Triunfo, open 24/7), snap pics at the San Blas neighborhood, and don’t miss the lively local markets. 2. Lima: Hit up Miraflores (Parque Kennedy, Av. Diagonal, open late) for ocean views and incredible ceviche joints (try La Mar, Av. La Mar 770). The historic center (Plaza Mayor) shines with colonial charm. 3. Machu Picchu: Book your ticket ahead via trip.com and grab the early shuttle from Aguas Calientes town (first bus leaves 5:30am). The climb is worth every sweaty step—don’t rush through, bring water and sunscreen! 4.
