I kicked off my day with breakfast at Pignol, a well-known local patisserie chain here in Lyon. I went to the branch near Place Bellecour – their running hare logo is really distinctive and easy to spot. Inside, I had the best kind of dilemma trying to choose from all the small cakes, but let me tell you, the Saint Honoré was absolutely delicious! I kept spotting adorable little shops and really interesting architectural details. I took a moment on a bridge to just gaze at the distant views of the city. And of course, I couldn't help but admire Lyon's famous architectural wall paintings – they're truly a signature of the city!
