The best way to understand a city is to visit its museums. They give us a deep understanding of the past. Luoyang has a civilization history of more than 5,000 years, a city history of more than 4,000 years, and a capital history of more than 1,500 years. It is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization. Luoyang is named after its location on the sunny side of the Luo River. In history, 13 dynasties successively established their capitals here, making it the earliest, longest-lasting, and most dynastic city in China. The exhibited artifacts include stone carvings, pottery, bronzes, porcelain, and jade, which are not only superb in craftsmanship, but also very similar to some of the things we have now. It's really amazing.
