The Luoyang Museum, this national treasure of culture, stands like a historical cauldron on the land of Luoyang, symbolizing the city's glorious history as the capital through thirteen dynasties. Stepping inside is like traveling through a time tunnel, embracing ancient civilization intimately. Within the museum, six major thematic permanent exhibitions each have their own characteristics, like six dazzling pearls. The Heluo Civilization and Treasures Exhibition is the crown jewel among them, gathering precious artifacts from Luoyang's prehistoric times to the Tang and Song dynasties, narrating the millennia-old legends of this land. Each exhibit seems to be a silent witness of history, quietly recounting the past's splendor and vicissitudes. Among these treasures, there are several that can be called the 'treasures of the museum.' The black-glazed tri-colored horses, of which only two exist in China, one in Luoyang and the other in the National Museum, stand side by side, witnessing the pinnacle of ancient ceramic art. There is also the Qing Dynasty's golden nanmu Buddha pagoda, its body shimmering with golden light, with 304 niches enshrining gilded Bodhisattvas, solemn and mysterious. The Eastern Han stone Pixiu is a rare piece of greenstone carving art. It has a robust physique and a majestic demeanor, being the largest and most exquisite Pixiu mythical creature in the Central Plains region. The clay Buddha face, unearthed from the ruins of the Yongning Temple pagoda, a royal monastery of the Northern Wei Dynasty, has a smile that seems to traverse a thousand years of time, still warming hearts. In addition, there are precious artifacts such as the white jade cup from the Cao Wei period, the Shu Di Fang Yi from the Western Zhou period, and the bronze Fang Lei from the late Shang Dynasty, all shining with the brilliance of history, leaving one in awe.
