The new building, which you see today, was opened to the public in 2009. The museum boasts a rich collection, with over 5,000 precious cultural relics, which are truly breathtaking. Luoyang Museum mainly exhibits artifacts from the Han and Tang dynasties. Like most museums, it has both permanent and temporary exhibition halls. Among the permanent exhibitions, the Heluo Exhibition, the Tang Sancai Exhibition, and the Treasure Exhibition are the most spectacular parts. The bronze square ding with beast face patterns unearthed from the Western Zhou period is regarded as the treasure of the museum.
