Royal Horseguards Hotel Experience

Last year, I had a wonderful time at the Royal Horseguards Hotel in London. The hotel is located at 2 Whitehall Court in central London, right next to Embankment subway station. It's really convenient to take the subway, and it's only a few minutes' walk to Trafalgar Square and Big Ben. The location is unbeatable! The hotel has a classic European decor style, luxurious yet cozy. The hotel is well-equipped, offering cloakroom, safe, and currency exchange services. The front desk was very friendly when we checked in and even upgraded our room for free. The room layout is also very reasonable. Although it was a standard double room, it felt very spacious, and the bed was super big. I didn't want to get out of bed. The room facilities include air conditioning, a mini bar, a tea/coffee maker, and a full-size hairdryer. The bed was soft, and there were bathrobes and slippers. The best part was that the bathroom supplies were replenished every day. After taking a shower, I put on a bathrobe and snuggled up in the comfortable big bed. It was pure bliss! Although the view from the room wasn't as good as expected, the location made it all worth it. In addition to the hotel's services and facilities, the location is a highlight. It's close to the Thames River and the London Eye, and there are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. I highly recommend going to the nearby Devine Restaurant Coffee Bar and The Park Room for afternoon tea to experience the authentic London vibe. 🏞️☕️ Of course, the hotel has some minor drawbacks. For example, the breakfast options are limited, and the quality is not up to five-star standards. Also, if you care about the lighting and view of the room, I suggest communicating in advance, as some rooms don't have great views. Overall, the location and service of the Royal Horseguards Hotel are impeccable. If you're planning a trip to London, I highly recommend staying here. I hope you have a comfortable experience too! 😊
