Castle's ancient walls take you on a journey through time.

A trip to the Pyrenees in Spain ~ Lleida (Region) I spent the weekend in Lleida and took the opportunity to visit the castle. The truth is, the entire walled area is fantastic. While the castle itself may not be one of the best, it is still very impressive. The church and cathedral are particularly striking. Everything is located on a hill in the center of Lleida, offering breathtaking 360-degree views of the city and beyond, as the area resembles a valley. The entire area leading up to the castle and the interior of the walls are stunning, taking you back to the 20th century. Construction began in the 12th and 14th centuries. I truly enjoyed my visit and highly recommend it. Another great detail that adds to the experience is the bar, where you can take a pleasant break, relax, and enjoy food and drinks in comfort.
