A promise of a bowl of Luosifen brought me to Liuzhou. 😋 I once thought Liuzhou only had the mouth-watering Luosifen, but when I truly set foot on this land, I realized it was a treasure city hidden in plain sight. When I walked into the Liuzhou Wenmiao, which has a history of two thousand years and was built in the Tang Dynasty, it felt like I had instantly traveled through time. 🎈 It is nestled by the mountains and rivers, rebuilt from the ashes, silently witnessing the changes and development of this city. The Wenmiao integrates the unique charm of Lingnan culture, with its red walls and black tiles exuding unparalleled beauty, making one marvel at it. In April, Liuzhou is surrounded by dreamy Bauhinia flowers. Being in the Wenmiao, feeling the gentle breeze, and admiring this splendid sea of flowers, it feels as if time has stopped at this moment. 🌸 No need to say that it resembles the buildings of Kyoto, Japan, because this is our incredibly stunning Chinese classical architecture, with its own unique charm and profound heritage. ✅🟢Tips Wenmiao Guide Tips: 1⃣️ According to research, Liuzhou Wenmiao is backed by the southeast Dengtai Mountain and consists of six main buildings. It stands magnificently on the site of the ancient Liuzhou Han City, with a lampstand as its support and a crane as its desk. - Dacheng Hall: It has distinct oriental architectural features and is a sacred place for people to offer incense and worship Confucius. 🧐 - Xingtan: It is said that Confucius once taught here, and you can almost hear the sound of reading from a thousand years ago. 📖 - Chongsheng Hall: Elegantly designed, it showcases the unique charm of southern architecture. 👏 - Wenchang Tower: Symbolizes that people can take on important responsibilities when they grow up, with a towering and imposing structure. - Dengtai Pavilion: Represents the idea of climbing higher step by step, a classic example of traditional Chinese architecture. 🥰 - Houde Minglun Hall: With a unique architectural style of a square top and round bottom, it is very beautiful. 😃 2⃣️ You can spend up to 2 hours here, and take as many photos as you like. However, it is recommended to buy water in advance before entering the Wenmiao, as there are no small shops inside. 😉 The surrounding Bauhinia flowers are really beautiful. 🌸 3⃣️ Do not make loud noises inside the Wenmiao, and try not to take photos of the interior to show respect. 😃 There are usually fewer people if you go during the weekdays, and it is recommended to visit in the morning.
