A detailed itinerary for a one-day tour of Liuzhou, Guangxi.

Finally, I came to Liuzhou, Guangxi in late autumn and started my one-day tour. 1. Liuhou Park, the most famous park in Liuzhou, is located in the city center on the north bank of the Liujiang River. (See travel notes for more information) 2. Liuzhou Museum, located opposite Liuhou Park, is a national second-class museum that records the history and development of Liuzhou. Museums are a must-see for me when I travel. Today is the weekend, so there are more visitors than usual. I strolled through the museum and visited the main exhibition halls on the three floors: the History Hall, the Ethnic Hall, the Bronze Hall, the Paleontological Fossil Hall, the Ancient Stone Carving Art Hall, and the Fan Painting and Calligraphy Hall. Among the many cultural relics, I finally found the national treasure, the "Han Tiger Button Bronze Drum," a musical instrument from the Han Dynasty. 3. Citizen Square. After leaving Liuzhou Museum, I took bus No. 69 and got off at the West Citizen Square Station to visit the Liuzhou Citizen Square. The spacious square is full of flowers and trees. I enjoyed the treatment of Liuzhou citizens, sitting quietly on a bench, taking a deep breath, and relaxing. It felt great! 4. Liuzhou Industrial Museum. After leaving Citizen Square, I came to the "Internet-famous" Liuzhou Industrial Museum. The museum was formerly an old textile factory and is now a national first-class museum with three main exhibition halls: Industrial History, Enterprise Style, and Ecological Livability. The 6,224 exhibits record the development of Liuzhou's industry from small to large, from traditional handicrafts to modern industry. Walking through the museum, I felt like I was traveling through time. 5. Yaobu Ancient Town. After leaving Liuzhou Industrial Museum, I walked 100 meters to the Yaobu Ancient Town, a national 4A-level tourist attraction in Liuzhou. This place, known as the "City Reception Room" of Liuzhou, is built on the beautiful Liujiang River and has long been known as the "Pearl of the Hundred Miles of Liujiang River." Yaobu Ancient Town has a long history of more than 2,000 years. It was named after the bricks and tiles made here were transported to other places through the wharf. 6. Wenchang Bridge Waterfall Group. After leaving Yaobu Ancient Town, I walked along the river to the Wenchang Bridge Waterfall Group, the "highlight of the Hundred Miles of Liujiang River." The scenic spot is located on the east bank of the Liujiang River and has six groups of waterfalls. Walking among them, I felt like I was enjoying a natural waterfall. The sound of the water flowing was so natural that I couldn't tell it was man-made. 7. At night, I went to the famous Five-Star Food Street in Liuzhou to taste the local delicacies represented by snail noodles. It was so pleasant!
