I imagined this place would be sparsely populated, with only the local Yao people resting at sunset. What I saw upon arrival, however, was commercialization. Speaking of which, there is still some regret. Halfway up the mountain, there are still two or three households of Yao residents. The grandmothers are selling sun-dried peanuts at the door. I think this is what's truly been forgotten, not the Yao costumes that are rented back and forth. The millennium Yao village was suddenly remembered by people, various marketing tactics have been applied. The already small village seems crowded.
