Yunnan University Science Building 3

Yunnan University Science Building 3 (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology Building) was built in 1954 and designed by Professor Yao Zhan of the Civil Engineering Department of Yunnan University. It is located in the center of Donglu Garden, west of Yingqiu Courtyard and east of Chengnong Building. The building is divided into three parts: the Chemistry Building in the east, the Physics Building in the middle, and the Biology Building in the west. The Biology and Chemistry Buildings have three floors, and the Physics Building has four floors. The three buildings are connected by a corridor bridge, forming a unified whole. The overall plan is laid out in an "I" shape, adopting a European architectural style. The entire building is tall and magnificent, dignified and elegant. As a representative modern cultural and educational building, Yunnan University Science Building 3 was announced as a municipal cultural relic protection unit in 2011.
