The Kunming Sheraton is not very friendly to frequent travelers

After a night's transit in Kunming without the Intercontinental membership perks, I had to choose Sheraton (the neighboring Delta is really not up to the level of a Full Season hotel without the membership benefits, almost like a serviced apartment, and the rooms are terribly low), the location is indeed off, just consider it a night to brush up on my stay while eagerly eagerly eagerly looking forward to the opening of the Grand Hyatt. The terrace concept in the drop-off area is quite interesting, but it only works with the night lights on. The lobby is relatively outstanding, with Chinese style and local Yunnan elements integrated into it, with beautiful landscapes and the ancient Tea Horse Road spread out, which still seems a bit tacky compared to the new Sheraton decor. Having been open for nearly 3 years, the overall facilities are quite new, and the rooms are well maintained. The design is very average, especially the traditional style line drawings on the headboard wall are too 👎🏻 The executive lounge and restaurant design are very impressive, with the collision of marble, metal, and wood elements combined with the refinement of minority architectural styles, creating a very layered space. Then the use of stone, raw wood, rattan, hemp rope, clay sculpture, and pottery in various details gives the space an artistic atmosphere. However, this Sheraton is just average for members, Titanium Gold can only get an executive room, and there were suites available on the official website on the day of check-in, but they just wouldn't give one. But it's just for one night, and since I had to leave early without even having time for breakfast, I didn't mind. It is said that they used to be very generous with suites, but now they are basically reserved for the owners' use. As for the hotel's highly praised online services like adding WeChat in advance, and the executive lounge's hh desserts and fruits being outstanding, sorry, I didn't experience any of that. Moreover, when I went to the lounge in the afternoon for a drink, no one paid any attention, and a bunch of people were just chatting. Fortunately, the big sister at the lounge's food counter was excellent, with well-prepared wontons, dumplings, and noodle soup, her service level completely outshone the pretty young ladies in the lounge, it felt like she was the only one busy working. The price of this hotel is not low either, I personally think it's okay to stay for around 600, but it's not necessary to go higher, of course, it doesn't matter if it's reimbursed by the company
