Green Lake Park in Kunming

The lake's shimmering waters, lush greenery, and picturesque buildings create a beautiful environment, earning it the nickname 'Jade of the City' in Kunming. Two long causeways divide the lake into four sections. Willows are planted along the causeways, and lotuses are grown in the lake, creating a serene and elegant landscape. The two causeways divide Green Lake into five scenic areas: 1. The Lake Center Island area features Qing Dynasty buildings such as the Lake Center Pavilion and the Fish Viewing Tower. 2. The southeast area includes Shuiyue Pavilion and Goldfish Island. 3. The northeast area consists of Bamboo Forest Island and Nine Dragon Pond. 4. The southern area includes Gourd Island and Nine-Curve Bridge. 5. The western area features Haixin Pavilion. Green Lake Park is one of the most beautiful parks in Kunming. The green lake water, trees, and lotus ponds are elegant and beautiful. In winter, you can feed and photograph thousands of red-billed gulls, which is a lot of fun.
