Passing Shanghekou, we saw a lot of tourist buses parked, so we turned in. The parking lot charges 10 yuan, but at least there is a toilet. You can take a boat tour of the Yalu River here. It is said that you can see the North Korean sentry post, the women's barracks, and the second largest industrial city in North Korea, Qingshui City, from the boat. When we saw so many tour groups, we just took a few photos from a distance and left. There is another scenic spot near Dandong City - Hushan Great Wall, which is the starting point of the eastern end of the Ming Great Wall. The original Great Wall was destroyed, and it is a scenic spot rebuilt on the original site. According to netizens, the steps of the Hushan Great Wall are very steep, so I, a person with a half-disabled knee, chose to give up and checked in at the door; there is also a stone tablet introducing National Highway G228. When we went out for dinner in the evening, we walked out of the hotel door, and no matter which way we looked, there were ginkgo trees with yellow and green leaves. The air of the whole city was filled with the unique bitter smell of ginkgo fruit, and ginkgo fruit could be seen everywhere. Is this a feature of Dandong? We went to the Changshou Ginseng Chicken Soup Restaurant, which was featured on Liaoning TV. Their ginseng chicken soup is really well-known, and it is so delicious that even I, who usually don't drink soup, drank two small bowls. A whole small tender chicken, with glutinous rice stuffed in its belly, has the fresh taste of chicken soup and the medicinal taste of ginseng, and is also delicious. Their yellow clams are plump and original, but unfortunately, some clams have sand in them. The rice cake is fried glutinous rice cake, sprinkled with white sugar, and tasted ordinary; North Korean rice sausage is salty, and it tastes good after being steamed, with rich ingredients; North Korean rice wine has a slightly fermented taste, with low sweetness, more like drinking a beverage.
