[Kyoto Kawaramachi] How about some delicious coffee at a cafe at night? 📍 Coffee House Hyakkei

☕️Shop: Cafe Hyakkei 📍Location: 2F Yamashita Building, 601 Nishi-Omonji-cho, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto, Kyoto 604-8054, Japan ⏳Business hours: 13:00-1:00 Even in Kawaramachi, Kyoto, it's rare. Cafe Hyakkei is open until 1am. When I visited, the male owner was serving customers, making coffee, and taking the bill all by himself. It's on the second floor of a multi-tenant building, and when you go through the slightly mysterious retro door, there's a nice space that's quiet, dark, and has a great atmosphere with the aroma of coffee. The interior is of course wonderful, and the furniture is also carefully selected, so the space itself is sure to be a calm and satisfying night cafe! And the coffee is very delicious, so I recommend ordering a cheesecake as a set. The age range was diverse, with male and female couples, friends, and people in their 40s and 50s. Kawaramachi is also home to the Kamo River, which is great for a stroll, but if you feel like enjoying a quiet evening with a cup of coffee, this is a great place to come!! There was a line when I visited at 10pm, and I imagine it gets very crowded on weekends. This cafe has a better atmosphere at night, but it's probably best to visit during the day, when it's least crowded. #Fritabi
