The Egyptian Grand Museum is amazing! So much history packed into a beautiful building, wonderfully engineered to include pyramid shapes everywhere! From the huge sculptures taken from rock sides to sarcophaguses never opened, you’ll find plenty to stare and gawk at. It’s worth the extra money to get a guide for an hour or two. There’s really so much to see it can seem overwhelming, but a good guide will get you the best highlights.
