The Grand Egyptian Museum, which opened a month ago 🇪🇬

The massive Egyptian Museum, built near the Giza Pyramids, opened this July 2025. It is considered the largest archaeological museum dedicated to a single civilization. It houses over 100,000 artifacts, of which approximately 20,000 are scheduled for display for the first time. It is expected to be the first time Tutankhamun's entire collection will be displayed in one place. The official opening date has not yet been announced; it has been set for November 1, 2025. On this date, the entire collection, especially the Tutankhamun exhibition (over 5,000 pieces), will officially open. Highlights include the large stone statue of Ramesses II that greets you at the museum entrance, the 12 themed chronological galleries, and the Pyramid View.
