The Roman Theatre, standing in the heart of the city, was a glimpse into Jordan’s rich past, while the Amman Citadel offered sweeping views of the city, with ancient ruins that speak to centuries of history. Walking through the bustling streets, visiting local markets, and interacting with friendly locals gave me a true sense of the city’s character. The modern side of Amman, with its lively cafes, restaurants, and galleries, added to the dynamic atmosphere. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting the Dead Sea, a destination unlike any other. Floating in the Dead Sea’s buoyant waters was an extraordinary experience – the sensation of weightlessness is something you have to feel to believe. The mineral-rich waters and therapeutic mud are renowned for their health benefits, and after covering myself in the famous Dead Sea mud, my skin felt incredibly rejuvenated. The stunning, otherworldly landscape of the Dead Sea, with its sparkling salt formations and the surrounding mountains, created a serene and almost magical atmosphere.
