Jeju Gimnyeong Beach Camping Site

Jeju Gimnyeong Beach is located in Gimnyeong-ri, Gujwa-eup, Jeju City, about a 50-minute drive from Jeju Airport. The parking lot is free, and there is a CU convenience store operating near the beach. Like other beaches in Jeju, Gimnyeong Beach has certain restrictions, such as prohibitions on fireworks, setting up facilities, cooking, smoking, and drone photography. Be sure to check these rules before visiting. Gimnyeong Beach spans a total area of 49,000㎡ (approximately 14,823 pyeong) with a 200-meter-long sandy beach. Although it is not as large as other beaches, its average water depth of 1–2 meters makes it ideal for beginner swimmers and children. It is also a great spot for walking with dogs or pets. Gimnyeong Beach is part of the Olle Trail Route 20, and if you follow the trail on the right, you will find a camping site. Outside the official beach opening season, camping is free, and you can use the cooking facilities, although there is no electrical system available. Behind the camping site, there is a basketball court and a playground for children. With its emerald-colored sea, Gimnyeong Beach is a perfect spot for camping or picnicking.
