Colosseum Cafe

While taking a walk at Minoreum, I stumbled upon the Colosseum Cafe, a charming spot boasting a forest view where you can enjoy hand-drip coffee, cakes, and baked goods. True to its name, the cafe is themed to resemble the iconic Colosseum in Rome, Italy. It features seating on both the first and second floors, with a vintage ambiance throughout. This pet-friendly cafe in Jeju is highly recommended, as it even sells snacks for dogs. On the second floor, you can enjoy a lush green forest view, making it a great spot for those looking for a cafe to visit in Jeju City. At the entrance, there's a large male sculpture on display, and inside, you'll find various sculptures and crafts, giving the feeling of exploring a museum. The menu includes coffee, hand-drip coffee, green tea, lemon tea, ade, juice, as well as a variety of pizzas and brunch options. Set menus, including pizza and Americano coffee, are available for around 20,000 KRW. Brunch options include brown cheese croffle, cheese dal bread, and kaymak pide bread. On the second floor, you can enjoy the forest view through the windows. On rainy days, the cafe offers a different atmosphere, and there are photo zones perfect for capturing memorable moments. Kaymak pizza is a Turkish dish made with cream-like dairy fat. The pizza is thick and cut into bite-sized pieces, making it suitable for 1-2 people. Served with homemade honey topped with sweet cream, you can scoop it onto the kaymak pide bread for a delightful combination of sweetness and nutty flavors. The crispy yet moist texture makes it a dessert that anyone would enjoy. When visiting cafes, I usually opt for hand-drip coffee over Americano, and the coffee at Jeju Colosseum Cafe had a rich flavor that perfectly suited my taste. Paired with the kaymak pizza, it was an excellent match.
