Blue Mosque

When you step inside the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, you will immediately feel the tranquility and beauty of Ottoman architecture, seamlessly blended with Byzantine influences in a remarkable way. Women are advised to wear clothing that covers their arms (shoulder-length or longer), long pants or skirts that cover the knees, and a headscarf when entering the prayer area. It is recommended to bring your own headscarf. Shoes must be removed before entering the prayer zone, and plastic bags are often provided to carry your shoes. There is no entrance fee.
