Feiyun Cliff丨The Rightful First Ancient Temple of Guizhou

Here, I use my lens to capture every bit of beauty, hoping they can become a bright spot in your journey. 🏞 Yuetan Temple, an ancient temple that has witnessed five centuries of wind and rain. Its story began in the eighth year of the Ming Zhengtong era and continues to this day. In Guizhou, it is known as the first ancient temple, not only because of its long history but also because of its unique charm. 🌲 Walking in Yuetan Temple, you will find that the ancient archway is hidden among the lush trees. Although time has left its marks, the colorful clay sculptures are still vivid. Compared with common stone carvings, these colorful clay sculptures are rarer, making them unique in Guizhou. 🍃 Long corridors, under the eaves, on the steps, covered with moss, full of greenery. The red walls and moss complement each other, reminiscent of the old times depicted in Jay Chou's "Shanghai 1943." The doors and windows carved by time, the mottled brick walls in the setting sun, are all marks of time. 🏞 Climbing up the steps, you will find a place with a different view. The stalactite walls are full of historical marks, and every cliff carving tells a story of the past. 🌄 Standing on Feiyun Cliff and looking into the distance, ancient trees tower, streams murmur, and the breeze gently blows. It reminds one of Mr. Wang Yangming's praise: "The mountains of the world gather in Yungui, and the beauty of Yungui converges on this cliff." This is not only praise for Feiyun Cliff but also a love for this land. 📸 As a photographer, I integrate what I see and feel into my lens. Every photo is a dialogue between me and this land. 📝 Tips: 1⃣ Starting from Guiyang, it only takes a 2.5-hour drive to navigate to Huangping Feiyun Cliff to start your exploration journey. 2⃣ The scenic area is free to enter, but you need to bring your ID card to register and get a ticket. 3⃣ Opening hours: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Please plan your trip accordingly. 4⃣ The ground in the scenic area is slippery, especially after rain or in freezing weather. Please pay attention to safety and avoid slipping. 5⃣ There are many ginkgo trees in the park. In autumn, the golden ginkgo leaves make the place extraordinarily beautiful. 6⃣ Every year on "April 8," a grand celebration is held here, which is an opportunity not to be missed to experience local culture. 🌈 Traveling is not only a visual feast but also a spiritual baptism.
