Hong Kong Space Museum launches new fulldome movie "The Secret Kingdom of Fungi"

The Hong Kong Space Museum's Space Theatre (January 13) launched a new full-dome movie "The Secret Kingdom of Fungi", taking the audience into one of the world's oldest temperate rainforests - Dakin in Tasmania, Australia, to search for rare and exotic fungi, and explore how fungi can be used to solve the severe environmental challenges faced by big cities. 　　 Fungi are almost everywhere. There are many different types of fungi, but most of them are very tiny and inconspicuous. They can be found on or in humans, or in the environment. Fungi can be used for therapeutic purposes, but some also contain toxins. They have tenacious vitality. Despite experiencing five mass extinction events on Earth, millions of fungal species still exist today. 　　　 The program is 41 minutes long and will be shown until September 30th. The show is shown at 5pm on weekdays; at 11am, 3pm and 8pm on weekends and public holidays respectively. The Hong Kong Space Museum is located at 10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. It is closed on Tuesdays (except public holidays). 　　　 The show ticket prices are 24 yuan (front seats) and 32 yuan (back seats).
