Hong Kong Space Museum presents the new 3D dome film 'Polar Extremes 3D'.

Starting from April 1st (Monday), the Hong Kong Space Museum's Stanley Ho Space Theatre will be screening the new 3D dome film 'Polar Extremes 3D', taking audiences on an exploration of Antarctica. Antarctica is the coldest, driest, and windiest place on Earth. 'Polar Extremes 3D' will lead audiences deep into the Antarctic animal world, starting with a dive beneath the ice into a vibrant underwater world, then returning to the surface to join a large penguin colony, and finally enjoying what may be the most whales ever seen on screen. Whales play a key role in mitigating climate change, and the film not only provides a visual spectacle for viewers but also helps them understand the impact of human overhunting of whales on climate change. With global temperatures rising, the film prompts humans to reflect and take action to protect the Antarctic ecosystem, to prevent climate change from disrupting its balance and further affecting the whole world. The program is 24 minutes long and will be shown until January 13, 2025. Screening times are 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM on weekdays; and 12:30 PM and 5:00 PM on weekends and public holidays. Ticket prices are 24 HKD (front seats) and 32 HKD (back seats). Tickets are now available at the Hong Kong Space Museum Box Office and URBTIX. The Hong Kong Space Museum is located at 10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, and is closed on Tuesdays (except public holidays).
